A new General Cleaning Day has been established by the GoSL on the 15th of December 2007. We hope that with the support of every Sierra Leonean, we'll achieve the same successful result as on the 2nd of November!

Dear Sierra Leonean,
the 10th November 2007 has been declared as General Cleaning Day for Freetown by the Government of Sierra Leone. It's an opportunity for all the communities in Freetown to have a cleaner environment. Therefore we encourage you all to clean your house but also the surroundings of your community. Klin Salone will of course participate in this General Cleaning Day and put all his efforts to achieve a cleaner environment for all the people of Freetown.

Klin Salone is going to embark on big sensitization campaign in every corner of the city from Goderich to Calaba Town with a team of ten members of Klin Salone every Saturday and Sunday from the 2nd of November to mid-December. We will tell more about Klin Salone Association, our members and our services. Contact us to know when we visit your community!

On the 2nd of June 2007, Klin Salone will organize a big float parade through the streets of Freetown in order to sensitize the communities on Klin Salone activities in waste collection and disposal. We'll start at 10 am from GTZ Office, Wilkinson Road and walk through the main streets of Freetown until Works Yard! There a drink will be offered to all the participants. Join Klin Salone!

Members of Klin Salone, come to assist to the official launching of Klin Salone activities on the 27th of January 2007 at Works Yard. The ceremony will start at 10.30 am and we are expecting the honorable presence of the Minister of Health and Sanitation as well as the Minister of Local Government and Community Development. We'll entertain you with music and drama performances as well as with refreshment and light food. We are expecting you all on the 27th of January! Klin Salone Wel di Body na Gentri!
